Lu Mil Vineyard is a must-see for their spectacular light show drive. The cost is only $6.00 and is well worth it. Plus, they offer a country-style buffet, a souvenir shop, candy store, photos with Santa and a wine tasting room and more!
We stayed at the cabin for the night. It was very nice, our whirlpool didn't work so they said they would have maintenance call me. Next thing I know they showed up at the door. He was very nice but we declined his services because my daughters were about to get out of the whirlpool. Also the bathroom door did not lock, and they only had bar soap for washing, no shampoo. And the bed was pretty firm. We ate at the buffet before the light show. CAUTION if you have any anxiety about being around a bunch of people in a small place, you are going to want to skip this. It is very crowded with very little room to move around. We opted to make our plates and then eat outside by the fire. The employee who took my money seemed to think that us eating outside was a big deal. Our food was good. The fried chicken was very good. We went to the light show. Wow! What a show, tons of lights. The kids had a great time, you could see all the lights from our cabin too, it was really quite magical. Afterwards we went to the candy shop, not much of a selection of candies unless you like saltwater Taffy, they have about every flavor imaginable. Visited the wine tasting and gift shop. These ladies were very friendly and the lady doing the wine tasting was very patient and kind. They had lots of jams, jellies, preserves,salsas and dressings to choose from. All around pretty good experience for a little get away. We truly enjoyed it.
Absolutely horrible!! After driving an hour with 3 children to get here the "Country Buffet" was far from edible and extremely unorganized. Rude staff in the candy store and just all around unfriendly everywhere. We got there around 5:45 when it was starting to pick up and the staff just expect everyone to know what to do. The room you eat in is very small with tables just about touching each other. If you have high anxiety this is not the place to go. We left around 7 and the line just to get in was at least a mile long with no one directing traffic and people pretty much fighting to get in. We will not be returning.
Fabulous. The cabin was great. The gift shop was great with neat things and food stuff. The folks who ran it were just beautiful to deal with. I will go back even though I live only minutes away in Elizabethtown.
Great light show. Really enjoyed the Christmas light show it was fabulous. They've added a few more lights than what they had last year. A couple of new scenes. We went to the gift shop and the candy store afterwards. Thank you for all the hard work and effort that went into making our evening and enjoyable one
