Kids love it in the summer.. would love to go in the fall or winter
Our Boy Scout troop spend the weekend there. Very nice group camp site!
We camped here for a weekend, and we loved it. It was very clean, and any staff we came across were very friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the water at the lake is a red color, and it actually stained my kid's bathing suits. If you go swimming here, make sure that you wear old stuff so it doesn't get ruined. I highly recommend!!
So far this is the best state park we have visited. The swimming area is perfect for kids; not too deep. The campsites are great. Nice trails. We love this park!
There are walking trails. A man-made beach. You can rent canoes and paddle boats. There are many gazebos and restrooms available. The water is a maple color due to the roots and sap from the tree's. A wonderful place for a picnic or get together.
